Job summary

JLL in Mead, WA seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager to deliver high-quality facilities management across government-operated industrial and office properties in eastern Washington, Idaho, and northeastern Montana. You will oversee maintenance teams and coordinate vendors, ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in facilities management or building operations.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ~20% travel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for maintenance technicians across facilities.
• Conduct site inspections to assess facility conditions and safety.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs and work orders.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers to meet contract standards.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to respond to service requests and issues.
• Support budget tracking, invoice review, and reporting for cost savings.
• Respond to urgent facility issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
