Job summary

HAHHH is seeking a multi-skilled facilities maintenance technician to perform plumbing, heating, electrical, and general building upkeep across hospital labs and offsite areas. You will follow work orders, preventive schedules, and diagrams to set up new areas and repair equipment.

You will troubleshoot pneumatic tube systems, lab gas lines, pumps, compressors, and related equipment, perform on-call maintenance, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience in a large facilities environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions and diagrams.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, heating, electrical, and pneumatic tube systems.
• Basic computer skills and driving ability for city routes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on pneumatic tube systems and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain lab equipment, systems, and building infrastructure.
• Replace light bulbs, patch walls, and assist with area layouts and installations.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and maintenance requests.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used; coordinate with vendors as needed.
