Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance professional to perform preventive maintenance on pneumatic tube systems and related lab support equipment. The role includes recording work, handling on-call duties, and coordinating maintenance activities across multiple locations.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in large facilities maintenance, familiarity with plumbing, heating, electrical, and lab infrastructure, and the ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a large facilities maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, heating, electrical, pneumatic tube systems and mechanical techniques.
• Ability to read, write, calculate and follow instructions and procedures.
• Must be able to drive up to a 24 foot truck in a city environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on pneumatic tube systems and related equipment.
• Maintains and records all work performed in logs and work orders.
• Responds to calls and emergencies; on-call as required.
• Assists with scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities.
