Job summary

Penske Entertainment is seeking a Facilities Intern for the College Program in Indianapolis. You will support the Facilities Department in planning and executing events and projects at IMS, coordinating rentals, staffing, and services for various events, and solving issues with stakeholders.

This role provides exposure to facility management and a fast-paced production environment. During the program, you will work with internal and external teams, learn CMMS usage, and participate in

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree.
• Strong interest in event and facility management.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and execution for the Non-Profit Ecology Program
• Participate in Department of Corrections pre- and post-event cleanup
• Monitor the Facilities email and CMMS to assign and dispatch Work Orders
• Support load-in and load-out of assets during events
• Assist with operations and production for events January–August
• Collaborate with trades, internal departments, contractors, and vendors on facility issues
• Inspect and record repairs/maintenance of buildings, grounds, and structures
• Coordinate and schedule temporary rentals, services, and staffing for marquee events
