Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to monitor, maintain and repair our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will balance guest comfort with energy efficiency, performing preventive maintenance and responding to emergencies as needed.

You’ll join a team committed to Lead with Love, upholding safety standards while supporting colleagues across departments and ensuring a positive guest experience at our family-owned resort.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the HVAC trade.
• Proven ability to lead with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain indoor air quality and comfortable temperature levels for guests.
• Optimize system operations for energy efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Respond promptly to HVAC-related emergencies and Guest concerns.
• Assist with installation of new HVAC systems and components when applicable.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruption during tasks.

HVAC Technician

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a HVAC Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.


• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of HVAC and refrigeration systems.


• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.


• Ensure guest comfort by maintaining proper indoor air quality and temperature levels.


• Optimize system operations for energy efficiency and recommend improvements.


• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.


• Respond promptly to HVAC-related emergencies and guest complaints.


• Assist with the installation of new HVAC systems and components if applicable.


• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records.


• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance tasks with minimal disruption.


• Safely handle refrigerants and chemicals according to industry and environmental guidelines.
