Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH seeks a Waterpark Maintenance Technician to perform skilled repairs to buildings and equipment, maintaining guest‑friendly conditions with minimal disruption. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor, keep work areas clean, and document shift activities.

Starting at $18.00 per hour with morning (6:30 AM–2:30 PM) or afternoon (2:30 PM–10:30 PM) shifts, this full‑time role offers growth opportunities within a family‑oriented, values‑driven resort

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of electrical motors, ventilation, electrical, and plumbing is helpful.
• Able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the ride manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor to prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas.
• Maintain records of all activities performed during the shift.

Waterpark Maintenance Technician

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aWaterpark Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled repairs to the building/equipment, and to always maintain the best possible conditions, with the least amount of inconvenience to the guests.

Starting Rate:

$18.00 an Hour

Looking for Morning and Afternoon Shifts!

Morning – 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Afternoon – 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of prior maintenance or mechanical experience
• Knowledge of electrical motors, ventilation, electrical, and plumbing is helpful
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
