Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled repairs in resort rooms and condominiums, ensuring comfort and safety for guests. The role supports the leadership team in maintaining a well‑kept environment while upholding our Promise to Lead with Love.

Position starts as early as September with pay ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Experience in carpentry, painting, electrical work, or appliance repair is required, with trade coursework considered

• 1 year experience in carpentry, painting, electrical and appliance repair required.
• Trade/College coursework in related fields is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair resort and condominium rooms including electrical, plumbing, furniture, drywall, painting, pools, and electronic systems.
• Inspect equipment regularly and follow manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure guest rooms and common areas are safe, clean, and well‑maintained.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Facilities Maintenance Technician

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Maintenance Technician .In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled repairs to the fixtures, furniture, and equipment in the sleeping rooms of the resort and condominiums to always maintain the best possible conditions with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and associates.

Your work will ensure a well-maintained, safe, and inviting environment that supports both exceptional guest experiences and associate well-being.

Pay Rate - $17 - $35/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain and repair resort and condominium rooms, including electrical, plumbing, furniture, drywall, painting, pools, and electronic systems.
• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, safety and training programs of Kalahari Resorts.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.

What We’re Looking For

• One year experience in carpentry, painting, electrical, and appliance repair required.
• Trade School and/or College course work in related fields are helpful.
• Previous hospitality or related experience helpful.
• Ability to be self‑motivat*ed, administrative and proactive preventative maintenance skills needed.
