Job summary

UNLV is seeking a Personnel Technician 2 to support Facilities Management with frontline HR services, timekeeping, compensation processing, and reporting. The role involves assisting with onboarding and offboarding under supervision and ensuring accurate data in Workday and related systems.

The position emphasizes adherence to policies, confidentiality, and teamwork within a busy, high-volume environment on the UNLV campus in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of personnel/payroll experience.
• Or 1 year as Personnel Technician I in NSHE state service.
• Equivalents in education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service on personnel and payroll inquiries.
• Enter and audit overtime, leave, and pay data across systems.
• Run and format system reports from Workday, TMA, and TimeClock Plus.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding tasks with the team.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel information.
