Responsibilities

• Initiates and responds to routine inquiries concerning HR programs such as compensation, benefits, employment, and payroll.
• Interprets HR policies and provides guidance to employees and management on policies and procedures.
• Assists in coordinating HR functions including performance evaluation, merit, reclassification, and training.
• Assists with employment process tasks such as search committee coordination and candidate evaluation methodologies.
• Supports development of HR policies and programs ensuring compliance with federal and state laws (ADA, FLSA, EEOC, FMLA, USERRA).
• Prepares reports and documentation of confidential nature; runs HR-related data queries.
