Job summary

Absolute Storage Management, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee housekeeping, laundry and general maintenance in a Georgia senior living community.

You will work with the Maintenance Director to keep the community clean, safe, sanitary and comfortable, ensuring adequate laundry and linen supplies at all times. The role requires leadership, English proficiency, and a strong background in environmental control and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Satisfactory criminal background check per state requirements.
• Experience in environmental control and operation of housekeeping equipment.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and maintaining housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services.
• Coordinate services with other departments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Inspect and maintain storage rooms, linen closets and all areas of the departments.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and operable to perform duties.
• Develop and train staff in infection control, waste disposal and universal precautions.
• Ensure safety rules, fire procedures and policies are followed during daily tasks.
• Conduct periodic inspections of supplies and equipment and manage on-call emergencies.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality and treat residents with dignity and respect.
• Participate in scheduling training and in-service education for staff.
