Job summary

Orchard Senior Living in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to manage the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensure cleanliness and safety standards, and supervise daily operations across common areas and resident spaces.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is able to pass background and health screenings, holds CPR and fire-safety training, and can drive the community bus if required. This is a non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Maintenance Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must successfully clear a background check, TB skin test or x-ray, and health screening.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current certificate of training for five (5) hour initial fire safety training as per Georgia safety regulations.
• Must have a valid driver's license if driving the community vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and supervises Housekeeping Department and staff including recruiting, interviewing, training, and scheduling.
• Oversees and supervises Laundry Department and staff including recruiting, interviewing, training, and scheduling (if applicable).
• Maintains cleanliness and tour-readiness of all common areas including carpets and light fixtures.
• Orders or reports housekeeping and laundry supplies and monitors monthly inventory.
• Ensures health standards in rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and public areas are met.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and ensures safe, sanitary working conditions.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Background check, TB skin test/x-ray, health screening

Current CPR certification

Fire safety training certificate (5 hour initial)

Valid driver's license (if driving community vehicle)
