Manor Lake Ellijay is seeking a seasoned supervisor to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance in a senior living community. You will ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while coordinating with departments and staff to meet residents’ needs.

The role emphasizes infection control, safety, and staff development, with on-call responsibilities for emergencies and a focus on respectful, confidential care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Satisfactory criminal background check per state requirements.
• Experience in environmental control and operation of housekeeping equipment.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and maintaining housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services.
• Coordinate services with other departments per the Maintenance Director.
• Inspect storage rooms, linen closets, and equipment for operability.
• Maintain infection control and Universal Precautions policies.
• Ensure safety rules, fire and disaster procedures are followed.
• Provide staff training and scheduling for housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.
• Be on-call for emergencies and participate in resident sales process as needed.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality and dignity in all interactions.
