Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Handyperson in Florida for full-time, ongoing maintenance tasks. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. You will perform cleaning, minor repairs, and upkeep across facilities, ensuring safety and cleanliness for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules/documents.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to standard procedure and building schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the area.
• Regularly check trash receptacles and empty as needed.
• Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling.
• Clean windows and polished surfaces; dust fixtures and shelves.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms for customers and staff.
• Complete sweep logs as directed; report to supervisor daily.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment safely; follow safety procedures.
• Dust furniture and equipment; wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors and sills.
• Make minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs.
• Perform paint touch-ups and replace light bulbs.
• Empty wastebaskets and replenish restroom supplies.
• Set up/tear down chairs, tables, and equipment in rooms.
• Report work progress to supervisor.
