Job summary

Genesee Lake School and Prader-Willi Homes, a MyPath Company, is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support our residential and school programs. You will perform building repairs, painting, basic plumbing and electrical tasks, and grounds upkeep to keep environments safe and welcoming for residents and staff.

The role is full-time with first-shift hours and occasional evenings or on-call work. Candidates should have at least one year of facilities experience and a high school diploma or

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of maintenance or facilities experience.
• Preferred carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, floor care, cleaning, snow removal and boiler maintenance.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders as assigned.
• Perform routine building and equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Handle minor plumbing and electrical repairs and troubleshoot systems.
• Assist with seasonal grounds care including mowing, snow removal and leaf collection.
• Maintain clean, safe workspaces and report safety concerns.
• Support maintenance of shared vehicles and participate in larger projects.
