Job summary

Humane Society of Tampa Bay is seeking a full-time Facilities Manager to oversee building projects, maintenance and grounds at our Tampa and Clearwater locations.

You will manage fleets, work with vendors, ensure safety standards, and coordinate schedules within a generous benefits package. Experience with animal-related facilities is preferred, and salary is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong project management and budgeting skills are needed.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic IT literacy.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building projects for two shelters (Tampa and Clearwater).
• Manage maintenance and groundskeeping of properties.
• Maintain vehicle fleets and coordinate vendor services.
• Schedule projects, monitor budgets, ensure safety compliance.
