Job summary

Cmacommunities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep on buildings, equipment, and grounds and to supervise contractors for major repairs. You will interact with residents daily and ensure safe, well-maintained facilities across the community.

The role requires a background in maintenance management, tool proficiency, and knowledge of building codes. Availability for on-call emergencies and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; facility management certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance management experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and write reports and communicate with homeowners, boards, and supervisor.
• Ability to calculate figures and measurements relevant to maintenance tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance scheduling software; CMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to homeowners, residents, and staff.
• Supervise contractors and vendors for major repairs.
• Maintain buildings and grounds for the community.
• Review work orders, order materials, and document work.
• Inspect equipment and report damage or malfunctions.
• Perform routine pool services and record-keeping.
• Pressure wash paths, drives, and decks; maintain safety practices.
• Respond to emergencies on nights and weekends.
