Job summary

Cmacommunities is seeking a capable on-site maintenance/janitorial professional to clean, maintain, and oversee grounds and facilities at our Destin, FL community. You will perform daily cleaning, basic repairs, landscaping tasks, and respond to work orders with accuracy and safety in mind.

You should have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, basic knowledge of electrical/plumbing/mechanical trades, and the ability to read reports and operate common tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional education, technical background, or certifications in facility management or related fields is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in general grounds and/or buildings maintenance.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, masonry, and carpentry trades.
• Ability to read, analyze, and write reports and manuals; communicate with homeowners, board, and supervisor.
• Must operate tools and equipment related to facility maintenance and basic trades.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to homeowners, residents, and staff.
• Reports to Community Association Manager and Board of Directors; interacts with residents daily.
• Care and upkeep of buildings and grounds for the entire community.
• Reviews work orders, orders materials and completes work professionally.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing all bathrooms; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
• Upkeep of common area landscaping; irrigation systems; seasonal tasks as needed.
• Pressure washes paths, drives, sidewalks, steps, decks; basic repairs.
• Report major damages to management and oversee repairs when asked.
• Maintain safety procedures, MSDS records, and comply with health regulations.
