Job summary

Shepherd Church in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Maintenance Worker to join our Building & Grounds Team. You will help keep our facilities functional, safe, clean and welcoming for all visitors and staff.

The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and physical work outdoors and indoors. CDL is preferred; candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs and use basic tools while adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a service industry role and/or skilled trade.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and basic tools.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and heights.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliability.
• Professional demeanor with confidentiality.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor indoors and outdoors.
• Understanding of safety practices and basic building systems.
• CDL license preferred (Mobile/Vehicle operation may be required).
