Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a general labor worker for our Sarasota facility. You will perform a variety of tasks including building and grounds maintenance, cleaning restrooms, storage areas, garages and surrounding property, plus occasional painting and small repairs.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and use of hand and power tools. You will work independently or with a team, in varying weather conditions, following directions and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general labor tasks.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team or alone.

Responsibilities

• General building maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility including restrooms, storage areas, garages and grounds.
• Walk property to check for repairs.
• Remove environmental hazards.
• Maintain parking lot and surroundings for safety.
• Mow grass, trim trees, weed flower beds, edge borders, and clean gutters as needed.
• Paint specified areas as required.
• Attend and participate in required training courses.
