Job summary

Mahnomen Health Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities and grounds. Duties include plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, and seasonal snow removal.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and be able to work outdoors in variable weather. On-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required to ensure safe and functional surroundings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related experience preferred.
• On-job training offered.

Responsibilities

• Inspects facilities, grounds, equipment to identify maintenance needs and repairs.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Plans repair work using blueprints, manuals, or other resources.
• Performs general repairs not requiring a specialized technician (drywall, painting, doors).
• Maintains building systems and equipment.
• Performs grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, landscaping.
