Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent, vocational preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical systems, carpentry and/or general building maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and communicate in a professional manner.
• Ability to lead and cooperate with management, staff and residents/families.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• MN Driver's License and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and follow multiple directions; prioritizing and multi-tasking favorable

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties to keep the facility clean, safe and functional.
• Support public relations and marketing activities as delegated by campus Administrator or Director Supervisor.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; maintain positive relationships.
• Provide effective communication with staff, residents and visitors; assist as needed.
• Participate in safety plans, resident council meetings, and environmental services initiatives.
• Maintain grounds and building upkeep including snow removal and seasonal tasks.
