Rumpke Waste and Recycling seeks a General Laborer to maintain facility grounds and assist in multiple lines of business. You will operate various tools, perform maintenance, and ensure safety per company policy and OSHA standards.

Excellent team players with strong work ethic and clear English communication will thrive, as you interact with customers and support routine custodial and repair tasks in a busy waste and recycling environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.
• Must read and speak English well.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Operate hand-held and power tools safely.
• Keep equipment in safe working condition per OSHA.
• Assist with waste carts, containers, and on-route duties as needed.
• Participate in general housekeeping and minor repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
