Job summary

Legends Global at Buddy Holly Hall in Lubbock, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist/Groundskeeper to perform facility maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, and general upkeep of our venue grounds.

The role involves seat repairs, suite maintenance, carpentry, painting, concrete work, and operating lawn and power tools, with emphasis on safety and reliable grounds operations. A High School Diploma/GED is preferred and two years of related experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of maintenance, construction, grounds care or related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimming devices, hand tools and power tools.
• Irrigation/sprinkler systems knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Seat repair and maintenance including cup holder removal and installation.
• Maintenance of suites including drywall, hardware, painting, ceiling tile and fixtures.
• Carpentry projects, new construction and repairs.
• Concrete patching, caulking and coating.
• Painting and surface preparation.
• Maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters and grounds features.
• Operate hand tools and landscaping equipment.
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, ground cover and flowers.
• Install and maintain signs, barricades, fences and irrigation systems.
• Mow, edge and trim turf areas, collect debris and trash.
• Identify and communicate safety issues on grounds and walkways.
