Job summary

Sawnee EMC is seeking a part-time General Clerk 1L (Building and Grounds/Custodial/Maintenance) to perform facility maintenance and grounds keeping duties. Requires a High School diploma, valid GA driver’s license, and some related experience. Alternate shift availability applies.

The role involves custodial tasks, maintenance support, and adherence to safety and company policies, with pre-employment checks required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HSE required.
• Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred.
• Experience with grounds keeping, outdoor maintenance, and custodial duties.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pre-employment verification includes background check, health screening, drug test, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Support Building & Grounds Department.
• Perform landscaping duties: grass cutting, trimming, weeding, digging, planting, borders.
• Clean building interiors: trash, dusting, sweeping, mopping.
• Maintain and repair SEMC buildings (painting, plumbing, electrical, structural).
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and supplies.
