Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in building maintenance, parks, landscaping or related field.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License; endorsements may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, plants flowers/shrubs, weeds, edges curbs, and maintains park areas.
• Performs maintenance and construction tasks for facilities, including playgrounds, fields, and buildings.
• Performs general custodial duties: cleans facilities, vacuums, cleans floors, and arranges staging for events.
• Maintains inventory of equipment, parts and supplies; transports materials to work sites.
• Operates County vehicles and various power/tools (mowers, weed eaters, tractors, etc.).
