Job summary

Sawnee EMC is seeking a General Clerk 1L for a part-time role focused on Building and Grounds/Custodial/Maintenance. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency, a valid GA driver's license, and willingness to perform facility maintenance and grounds keeping duties.

Responsibilities include completing landscaping tasks, cleaning and basic repairs, and supporting the Building & Grounds Department.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or state-approved High School Equivalency (HSE).
• Six months to one year of job-related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Experience with grounds keeping, outdoor maintenance, and custodial duties.
• Must have a valid Georgia driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support the Building & Grounds Department.
• Perform duties in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Maintain knowledge of SEMC policies and services.
• Receive work orders from supervisor.
• Complete landscaping tasks: grass cutting, trimming, weeding, digging, planting.
• Clean interior areas: trash, buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping.
• Repair and maintain SEMC buildings: painting, plumbing, electrical, structural.
• Repair parking lots and sidewalks with asphalt and concrete.
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and supplies.
