Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Ohio is seeking a General Laborer to perform grounds maintenance and facility upkeep. You will operate hand-held and powered tools, help with waste cart logistics, and maintain safety standards on site.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and clear English communication to interact with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to travel between sites if required and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers and staff.
• Must read and speak English well.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and perform upkeep tasks.
• Operate various hand-held tools and equipment.
• Ensure safe operating condition of equipment per policy and OSHA.
• Assist with waste carts/bin organization and loading/unloading.
