Job summary

The Town of Branford is seeking a Part-Time Maintainer to support recreation facilities, parks, and grounds. This role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and welcoming spaces for residents and visitors, under supervision by the Lead Maintainer.

Responsibilities include custodial work, basic groundskeeping, field preparation for programs, snow removal, and equipment setup for events, with a maximum of 19 hours per week and up to 1000 hours annually.

Qualifications

• Experience or education sufficient for performing duties.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of facilities and grounds.
• Inspect facilities for safe use by patrons.
• Provide custodial duties including cleaning, scrubbing, and polishing.
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep.
• Assist with snow and ice removal.
• Prepare fields for programs and events.
• Set up and move equipment for events.
• Other duties as assigned.
