Job summary

The Town of Marblehead is seeking a Part-Time Grounds Maintenance worker to perform parks maintenance on municipal and school properties under the Recreation & Parks Department.

Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, operating equipment safely, cleaning and maintaining grounds, restrooms, and related tasks; teamwork with town staff and the public; and adapting to changing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or outdoor custodial work.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely.
• Willingness to perform manual tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mow and trim municipal and school grounds under supervision.
• Operate mowing, trimming, and air-blowing equipment safely.
• Perform cleaning, weed control, painting, and other ground maintenance tasks.
• Assist with trash pickup and restroom cleaning and sanitization.
• Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and teamwork with staff and the public.
• Adapt to duties that may change with or without notice.
