Job summary

The City of San Bruno Parks Division is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to support grounds and facilities maintenance in City parks and around City buildings. Under supervision, you will perform unskilled and semiskilled tasks, operate small equipment, assist with irrigation, landscaping, and cleaning, and help move materials as needed.

Weekend work is required. Candidates must be able to read and follow directions, lift up to 50 pounds, pass a pre-employment physical and drug test,

• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of proper use and care of common hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Responsibilities
