Job summary

TSMC Arizona is looking for a Facilities Gas and Chemical Engineer to sustain, troubleshoot, and manage gas, chemical, and slurry distribution systems in a 24/7 semiconductor fab environment.

Responsibilities include leading system improvements, coordinating with operations and vendors, and ensuring reliability, safety, and cost objectives across projects at our Phoenix facility. On-site work and ERT duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 2 years’ experience in semiconductor facilities chemical, gas or slurry distribution systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills: communication, computer proficiency, presentation skills, listening, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Sustaining engineering support for gas, chemical, and slurry distribution systems.
• Oversee operations & maintenance, manage system capacity vs. demand, and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and implement improvement roadmaps via capital and expense projects.
• Lead safety, reliability, quality, environmental, and cost objectives in site operations.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and external teams to ensure cost-effective projects.
