Job summary

The American Red Cross in Concord, NC is seeking a Fleet and Facilities Services Supervisor to lead maintenance and repair of our facilities and fleet. You will supervise staff, manage inventories, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations while coordinating with contractors and vendors.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, at least seven years of related experience, and one year of supervisory experience. Strong planning, budgeting, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1 year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff responsible for facilities maintenance and fleet operations.
• Direct maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, labs, offices, and grounds.
• Oversee inventory receipt, distribution of equipment/materials, and security functions.
• Develop and manage department budget, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance scheduling.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and manage contracted services.
