Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to repair and maintain plant and office facilities, machinery, and equipment. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and boiler/chiller service, with opportunity to lead volunteers and uphold safety standards.

The position requires a High School diploma and at least 3 years of related experience in multiple trades, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent required. May require a trade license.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in painting, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance in facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot to prevent breakdowns; use hand and power tools and follow blueprints and diagrams.
• Provide guidance to volunteers and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Drive between locations and perform safety procedures.
