Volunteer State Community College is seeking a Facilities Associate to support the Manager of Facilities and Director of Plant Operations. You will schedule buses and fleet vehicles, track maintenance, and assist with bids and work orders.

Strong Excel/CMMS skills and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities include coordinating bids, filing, and preparing reports, with the role involving daily liaison across departments and ensuring compliance with safety and privacy standards at the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience in facilities or fleet operations.
• Experience with bids/RFP processes and procurement is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance scheduling advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assign and manage bus and fleet vehicle use for campus operations.
• Track, maintain, and schedule maintenance for all college vehicles.
• Facilitate communications via phone, CMMS, and two-way radio.
• Perform financial reconciliation of reports and invoices.
• Comply with Data Protection Act and Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Support Senior Director of Plant Operations in absence of admin staff.
• Coordinate bids and purchase orders; arrange meetings and schedules.
