Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College seeks a Coordinator, Fleet to lead the administration and operation of the college's fleet maintenance, upfitting, and vehicle asset management. You will oversee service with vendors, manage vehicle readiness, and ensure safety and compliance across CMV/CDL fleets.

The role requires collaboration with staff across campus, strong record keeping, budgeting, and training responsibilities to support reliable transportation for operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical diploma in Automotive Technology, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Three (3) years of fleet operations/maintenance experience, or five (5) years in related areas.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet servicing by coordinating with external vendors and maintaining policies.
• Manage vehicle allocation and readiness to meet operational needs.
• Maintain fleet records, including CMV/CDL compliance and telematics data.
• Provide driver safety training and maintain asset management practices.
• Coordinate budgets and capital expenditures for fleet assets.
