Job summary

Arizona State University is hiring a Facilities Specialist 2 to support event and facility operations at the West Valley campus. The role involves managing reservations, producing event layouts, and coordinating setup and breakdown for various spaces, including conference rooms and outdoor areas.

You will supervise a sizeable student staff while promoting their professional growth and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct guest service and manage reservations for events and facilities.
• Oversee event setup and breakdown and coordinate facility operations at West Valley campus.
• Supervise a large team of student staff and foster their ongoing development.
• Serve as liaison to campus partners and vendors for facility maintenance and event execution.
• Monitor spaces for cleanliness, readiness, and safety during events.
