Arizona State University seeks a Facilities Specialist 2 to support event and facility operations at the West Valley Campus. You will manage reservations, coordinate event layouts with Social Tables, set up spaces, and supervise a large student staff while ensuring excellent guest service.

The role reports to the Associate Director of Unions and Centers and requires coordinating with Sun Devil Fitness teams. Travel to other ASU campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
• Experience in event management and facility operations is preferred.
• Proven ability to train students for leadership roles and cultivate relationships with both students and professional staff.

Responsabilités

• Respond to, create, and manage reservation requests using scheduling software (e.g., Mazevo).
• Produce, update, and interpret event diagrams and setup instructions using Social Tables.
• Lead setup/breakdown of event spaces and supervise furniture/equipment arrangement.
• Serve as primary contact for guests, providing accurate information about campus resources and services.
• Collaborate with FACMAN and outside vendors for maintenance, repairs and updates.
• Lead hiring/onboarding of student staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and payroll.
