Job summary

Restaurant Brands International Inc. is seeking a Facilities/ Maintenance Lead to drive building repairs, vendor relations, and preventive maintenance for restaurant operations. You will develop capital plans, review contracts, and ensure cost-effective improvements across locations.

The role requires 3–5 years in restaurant operations with strong MS Office and project-management skills, plus the ability to travel up to 50% and communicate clearly in writing and speech.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of facilities, vendor and negotiation management.
• Skilled in project management principles and techniques.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• 3–5 years of experience; specific experience in restaurant operations preferred.
• Ability to travel 50% and as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine building repairs and vendors needed for efficient operation.
• Build relationships with restaurant leadership and vendors.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Develop and maintain a network of service providers; review contracts.
• Define scopes of work for repairs, improvements and equipment installation.
• Review proposals, contracts, and invoices for accuracy and value.
• Identify capital needs and develop investment strategies and budgets.
• Place and track equipment orders.
• Provide continuous improvement ideas and implement them.
• Partner with cross functional initiatives and support brand research.
• Support emergency situations including damage assessments and recovery.
• General repair and maintenance of restaurant equipment
