Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC invites qualified individuals to join the Facilities department as a Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements on facility systems, buildings, and utilities to support production and a reliable operation.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 year technical degree or equivalent equipment service experience.
• 3 years of experience in a Facilities environment (industrial or heavy commercial); well-qualified entry level candidates considered.
• Working knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical equipment and Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facilities equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building controls).
• Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and analyze root causes.
• Participate in reliability-centred maintenance and long-term equipment reliability efforts.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge to drive improvements.
