Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC is seeking an Equipment Service Team Leader for the Facilities department in Indiana. You will lead a 3–5 person crew responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements to building systems, utilities, and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, safety, and cross-functional collaboration with operations.

Qualifications

• completion of a 2-year technical degree or equivalent equipment service experience
• experience in facilities maintenance for industrial or heavy commercial environments preferred
• strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of 3–5 technicians to perform preventative maintenance and repairs
• prioritize work orders, minimize downtime, and report activities
• develop skills through hands-on training and new technology adoption
• participate in shift-to-shift meetings and ensure safety compliance
• mentor teammates and drive continuous improvement initiatives
