Job summary

Precision for Medicine is seeking a Facilities Specialist in Winston-Salem, NC to oversee maintenance, calibration, validation, and monitoring of facility equipment and lab instrumentation. The role ensures reliability, compliance, safety, and operational readiness, serving as a liaison with vendors and supporting EHS initiatives.

Essential duties include tracking tasks, coordinating preventive maintenance, and managing documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in mechanical or maintenance with backup power and switch gear knowledge.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel, including overnight stays.
• Must read, write, speak English fluently and have proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Track and update maintenance tasks and communicate with Site leadership on safety, facilities and equipment priorities.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, qualification, validation, and repair activities for facility equipment and laboratory instrumentation.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical systems, generators, and central monitoring systems.
• Act as primary contact for facility alarms, equipment monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support procurement, installation, and commissioning of new lab and facility equipment.
