Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking a Facilities Engineering Supervisor to lead operations for Swedish Issaquah and Redmond campuses. You will oversee plant operations, maintain building envelopes and life safety systems, and supervise staff and vendors to ensure reliable utility services in a complex hospital environment.

You will plan budgets, develop preventive maintenance programs, coordinate system disruptions, and advise on design and operation of physical plant systems while

Qualifications

• Broad range of formal training in building maintenance and plant operations.
• National Boiler Operator licenses (Grade I/II/III) at hire.
• 10+ years building maintenance and plant operations experience.
• Experience with building envelopes, finishes and equipment.
• Experience with utility and life safety systems (chillers, generators, steam, etc.).
• Experience with computer-based preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience with hospital utility systems.
• Experience with computer-based maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision for Facilities Engineering.
• Plan work, schedule staff and vendors, and supervise work orders.
• Coordinate system disruptions and monitor life safety systems.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist in budget development and labor planning.
• Oversee safe, reliable operation of utility systems.
