Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an Engineering/Facilities Manager in Hawaii to support Property Operations. You will supervise repair work orders, ensure fair policy administration, and plan preventative maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to keep facilities in top condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years' experience in engineering and maintenance; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering or Mechanics with 2 years' related experience; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises distribution of repair work orders.
• Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.
• Assists in planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates.
• Monitors timeliness and quality of repair work orders.
• Supervises Engineering and related areas in absence of the Director of Engineering.
• Manages physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
• Communicates performance expectations and recognizes performance.
