Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an experienced Engineering Operations leader in Hawaii to oversee the maintenance and profitability of the property’s engineering systems. The role requires managing budgets, supervising the engineering team, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Relocation assistance is available, and a valid driver's license with clean history may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years related experience; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics or related field; 4 years related experience; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Operations and Budgets and monitor performance against budget.
• Oversee physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and related equipment.
• Administer service contracts to support property needs and ensure life safety systems are up to date.
• Develop engineering operating strategy aligned with property/brand business goals.
• Review financial reports to assess engineering performance against budget and drive cost control.

Education
