Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Manager, Engineering Services and Facilities to lead the operations of our Engineering Services, Maintenance, Stationary Engineering, and Yard Maintenance across our Robbinsdale campus in Minnesota.

You will oversee the development and implementation of the Utility, Safety, and Life Safety Management plan, ensuring reliable facilities support for patient care and hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Total Quality Management, communication skills, organizational and management skills.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and HVAC systems.
• DNV-GL NIAHO standards experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the operations of North Memorial Health Care Engineering Services including Maintenance and Stationary Engineering, as well as Yard Maintenance.
• Oversee development and successful implementation of the Utility, Safety, and Life Safety Management plan.

About this position

Responsible for managing the operations of North Memorial Health Care Engineering Services including Maintenance and Stationary Engineering, as well as Yard Maintenance. Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a facilities role in a Health System setting
• 3 Years in a management position in a union environment preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of Total Quality Management, communication skills, organizational and management skills.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and HVAC systems
• DNV-GL NIAHO standards experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification

• Valid driver’s license in state of residency with acceptable driving record
