Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager, Facilities Engineering to supervise maintenance for a manufacturing site in Morton, IL. You will lead a team across shifts, drive reliability, and manage capital plans to improve asset performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, suppliers, and operations to optimize facilities and material handling systems at the Morton DC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field and 5 years of maintenance or facilities management experience in manufacturing or distribution.
Ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups and lead teams to achieve business goals.
Experience leading inter-team collaboration and breaking down silos to drive results.
Strong data gathering, analysis, and interpretation to drive continuous improvement.
Familiarity with manufacturing application systems and SAP EAM/PM or similar CMMS.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, partners, and suppliers to meet business goals and ensure efficient facility operations.
Lead a maintenance team and supervise training to maintain high performance.
Evaluate utilities and equipment performance and provide solutions to challenges.
Oversee inspections, repairs, and updates of facilities and operations; maintain order at the site.
Own equipment performance and OEE; drive maintenance strategies and meet targets for throughput.
Develop multi-year capital plans and asset replacement strategies to improve reliability.
