You will lead cross-discipline projects, ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency, and guide improvement efforts across manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates hold an accredited engineering degree with hands-on facility and project experience, familiar with ABB/Rockwell hardware and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering or engineering technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Industrial facility and capital project experience.
• Understanding of NFPA 70E and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Create technical specifications and functional requirements for facilities projects.
• Evaluate new equipment against Caterpillar specifications and recommend modifications.
• Adhere to standards for quality, safety, cost reduction, and ergonomics in assignments.
• Estimate costs for equipment, materials, and installation for ROI analysis.
• Review proposals, approve drawings, and act as primary company contact.
• Supervise outside contractors and troubleshoot facility systems and equipment.
• Support other facility engineers and manufacturing teams.
