Job summary

GE Vernova’s Gas Power business in Pensacola, FL is expanding with a $200M+ capital investment, creating a hands-on Facilities Engineer role. You will coordinate with the EPCM contractor, general contractors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget, while evolving into facilities management for long-term growth.

The role requires problem‑solving, strong project management, and cross‑functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Facilities Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with CapEx project management, construction coordination, or large‑scale equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as daily boots-on-the-ground support for a major facility expansion and plant refit project.
• Interface with EPCM contractor, general contractors, and subcontractors on change orders, scheduling, and scope management.
• Support equipment installations, paving, infrastructure upgrades, and large-scale refitting of manufacturing spaces.
• Prepare capital cost justifications and manage delegated project appropriations.
• Champion cost benefit analysis and budget coordination for CapEx projects.
