GE Vernova's Gas Power business in Pensacola, FL is seeking a hands-on Facilities Engineer to lead a major facility expansion and refit. You will work directly with leadership and EPCM partners to keep projects on schedule and within budget, with long-term growth into facilities management.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering, plus on-call support and weekend flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience and US work authorization.
• Minimum 5 years facilities engineering in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with CapEx, construction coordination or large equipment installation.
• Willingness to work weekends when needed and support on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide boots-on-the-ground support for facility expansion and plant refit projects.
• Coordinate with EPCM, general contractors, and subcontractors on changes and schedules.
• Support equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades, and cost justifications.
• Develop and monitor preventative maintenance programs aligned with safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, safety, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams to sustain operations.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in on-call rotations.
