Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Gas Turbine Project Engineer to provide technical project management, direction, and coordination for all gas turbine projects. You will act as the technical liaison among customers, EPCs, and internal engineering groups to ensure contract compliance and drive continuous improvement in execution.

You will lead CKOMs/DLMs, review contract requirements, evaluate change impacts, and mentor teams on design and field engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma/ GED with 5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering related to Gas Turbines, rotating equipment or similar technology OR 5 years of related experience with a high school diploma/GED.
• Eligibility Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel, ~10%; Ability to manage multiple priorities; Leadership-quality communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, EPCs, Project Management, and multiple engineering organizations to ensure design alignment and issue resolution
• Drive lessons learned into design engineering to prevent recurring issues
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and regional customer engineering
• Conduct CKOMs / DLMs with customers or their design representatives
• Review contract documentation and communicate project requirements across design functions
• Evaluate impact of scope changes and implement through Change Orders
• Support resolution of cross-functional design complexities and technical issues
• Mitigate engineering schedule risks and ensure timely delivery
